Policies

Virginia Highland Bed and Breakfast is a small property where reservations are typically made well in advance. If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change your reservation, please note the following policies apply:

B&B Cancellation Policy:

• To receive a refund of your deposit, cancel or modify your reservation by email 10 (ten) days before your arrival date. Cancellation will be acknowledged by email within 24 hours; if not, call to verify your cancellation has been received.
• Guest is responsible for 100% of a reservation when cancellation is made within 10 days of arrival date. If we can re-book your B&B rooms a full or partial refund will be made less a 10% processing fee.
• Travel insurance is recommended to avoid financial loss. www.InsureMyTrip.com
• No-shows will be charged 100% of the reservation price.
• There is no price reduction for early departure after arrival or check in.

Deposit Policy:

• One night's stay will be charged to your credit card upon booking.

• 2 night minimum stay policy: A $20 surcharge will be added to any approved one night stay.
• 3 night minimum stay policy for Emory Graduation,  Americasmart, Christmas, New Years. Rates and minimums may vary for high impact dates.

Check In: 3:00 PM  Notify us of your arrival time.
Check Out: 11:00 AM

B&B room rates are per night, single/double occupancy, 15% hotel taxes.

Inquire about suitability for children.

No Smoking.  No Pets.

Getaway and Hideaway Cancellation Policy:

• The Getaway and Hideaway apartments are private, non-smoking, self catering units with a 2 night minimum stay and $90 departure cleaning fee.
• $400 reservation deposit at time of booking converts to a refundable damage deposit upon check in. To receive a refund of your $400 deposit, cancel or modify your reservation by email 30 days before your arrival date. Cancellation will be acknowledged by email within 24 hours; if not,
  call to verify your cancellation has been received.
• Guest is responsible for 100% of a reservation when cancellation or change  is made within 30 days of arrival date. If we can re-book your unit, a full or partial refund will be made less a 10% processing fee.
• Travel insurance is recommended to avoid financial loss. www.InsureMyTrip.com
• No-shows will be charged 100% of the reservation price.
• There is no price reduction for early departure after arrival or check in.

$10 per night charge for 5th adult and/or use of rollaway cot in Getaway Apartment.

3 night minimum stays for Emory Graduation,  Americasmart, Christmas, New Years. Rates and minimums may vary for high impact dates.

If management cannot honor a reservation for any reason, every effort will be made to find you comparable accommodations.

The Getaway is suitable for children.
The Bungalow Hideaway is not suitable for children.
